Company Profile

Montline Chartering

Independent dry bulk brokerage based in Tbilisi, covering coaster, river-sea, and selected Handysize business across the Black Sea, Mediterranean, Baltic and connected short-sea routes.

What We Actually Do

We work on practical freight problems where cargo, tonnage, timing and port reality all matter more than generic brokerage wording.

  • Owner-side: market screening, reduced cargo probing, cargo ideas, Baltic / Black Sea / Med cross-coverage.
  • Cargo-side: owner access, parcel-shipment structuring, broker-safe freight checks, routing logic.
  • Execution logic: practical understanding of loading, discharge, restrictions, documentation, laytime exposure and follow-through after fixture.

Why We Are Useful

  • Sea-going background: hands-on operational understanding, not brochure-level shipping language.
  • Broker discipline: we do not present weak interest as firm business.
  • Field access: local presence can be arranged for targeted market entry and face-to-face qualification.
  • Intelligence layer: internal databases, live market signals and structured follow-up systems support fast, practical screening.
Team

Who leads the work.

Capt. Tymur Rudov

Co-Founder · Commercial Lead. Leads commercial work on the brokerage side and handles owner-side, cargo-side and negotiation-grade branches.

The company is built around practical freight execution rather than generic "consulting" language.

Alexander Chernev

Freight Broker · RF Field Representative. Acts as Montline's local field representative in the Russian Federation, opening first contact, handling face-to-face introductions and transferring workable routes into Tymur's follow-up loop.

Available for meetings in Saint Petersburg by prior arrangement during field trips. Get in touch via the contact below to confirm the next travel window.

First Meeting

Meeting logic.

For a first meeting, we do not need a perfect cargo stem or an open vessel on the table. What matters is whether there is a real operational fit:

  • owners and operators who value an additional market route or cargo access layer;
  • exporters and logistics teams who may benefit from a reserve freight brokerage channel for parcel cargoes or short-sea business;
  • commercial people who prefer practical market talk over decorative networking.

Montline Chartering does not present indicative market interest as firm business and does not disclose unnecessary cargo or vessel fingerprint before a workable basis exists.
